300 dancers from 9 countries participate in the International Folklore Festival held in Romania

At least nine countries sent their ensembles to represent them on the banks of the Mures River.

Hundreds of dancers from nine countries participated in the International Folklore Festival held in Romania on Sunday.

Mexican guitars, Greek flutes, Czech violins and Romanian screams resonated at the opening of the country’s twelfth international folklore festival.

The demonstration was held on the streets of Aiud municipality, Alba department, located in the center of Romania.

Nine countries sent an ensemble to represent them at the festival on the banks of the Mures River.

More than 300 dancers sent to show their talent and love of folklore at the festival are in Romania for the first time.

Aiudians look forward to this festival every year, especially because the ensembles are different every time the festival takes place.

The festival ended on Sunday evening with the winners’ gala after a weekend full of music and dance by artists from around the world.
