According to EOF’s announcement, after laboratory tests, it was determined that the products of the batch did not meet the specification
THE National Medicines Agency (EOF) announced today, Monday, June 17, 2024, that it is recalling batches of medical examination gloves that do not meet specific specifications.
The decision refers to the annulment of:
1) medical device series 02323095.2309L GMT Super Gloves Nitrile Powder – Medical Nitrile Examination Gloves, size L (8-9), expiration date 06/2028, Anhui Intco Medical Products Co, Ltd – China.
After laboratory tests and analysis, the products of the batch do not meet their specifications in terms of water resistance, – (identification of holes)
2) lot 00323218.2303XL of the medical device GMT Super Gloves Vinyl Powder – Medical Examination Vinyl Gloves, size XL, expiry date 12/2026 GMT International Super Gloves Pte – Singapore”.
After conducting laboratory analysis tests, it was determined that the products of the batch did not meet their specifications for a) breakage and b) water permeability (hole detection).
The decision is made in the context of public health protection. “SPYROS GAZIS KE SIA OE” shall take corrective action regarding the recall within a reasonable period of time. Relevant documents are retained for at least five (5) years and brought to the attention of the EOF upon request.
